Ms. Darlene Bright, President of the Church of Scientology of San Jose, was awarded the title of Ambassador of the Year 2008 for her many contributions to the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce.
Citing her dependability and willingness to assist in any way needed by the Chamber, Ms. Bright, was warmly thanked for help and presented her award by Milpitas Mayor, Jose Esteves, and Councilperson Debbie Giordano.
Ms. Bright was one of 3 Chamber members to be awarded for their contributions this year, the others being Cisco Systems, Inc. as the Corporate Citizen of the Year 2008 and Ms. Jeanne Mader as Business Person of the Year 2008.
