Travel to the Guayana region of Venezuela and you'll reach the state's most important city, Puerto Ordaz. It's a mixture of modern cityscape and natural beauty and is also now the location for the new Church of Scientology Mission of Puerto Ordaz.
The ribbon cutting for the new mission was a vibrant and lively affair hosted by Scientology Mission Director Carolina Lombardo, and attended by executives of the Church of Scientology of Venezuela as well as many community members and local university staff and media.
