USA ST. LOUIS, Saturday, September 27, 2008 — Under a bright yellow tent in Lafayette Square, the Church of Scientology's new Volunteer Ministers' Tent was erected for the first time in the city of St. Louis, to demonstrate real solutions to problems facing local communities such as, illiteracy, family upset, crime, drug use and even business difficulties.

Mr. David Miscavige has served as Religious Technology Center's Chairman of the Board, its most senior position, since 1987. Mr. David Miscavige is uniquely qualified for this position. An active Scientologist for most of his life, Mr. Miscavige has been involved with next to every aspect of the Church's activities for many years and worked closely with Mr. Hubbard.
Mr. David Miscavige has worked tirelessly to protect the religion. He authored the early 1980's reorganization of Church corporate and management structures which have given the religion years of sustained growth and stable leadership.
